Don’t miss out on these three great events coming up in October:
Challenge Aruba, Eat Local Aruba, ATECH – Aruba’s Tech Conference and more

Challenge Aruba, scheduled for October 20-22 this year, is an endurance festival that challenges participants to set high goals and not quit until they reach them. 2016 was the first year this event was held, and it was a huge success. Here’s the run-down of this year’s races:

Half-Triathlon. This race includes a 1.9km swim that is a single lap course in the crystal clear blue Caribbean Sea starting on world-famous Palm Beach; a 90km bicycle circuit where riders complete three (3) 30km laps along the Aruban Coast, with gently rolling hills providing a subtle challenge for athletes. Riders head north from Palm Beach towards Malmok, Arashi Beach and the famous California Lighthouse before following the coast back to Palm Beach; and a 21km running segment that is flat, fast and beautiful. The run circuit takes place entirely along the white beaches of Aruba. Three (3) 7 km laps alternate between The Strip and the beach path in front of the exclusive hotels of Aruba that define the Palm Beach area. The finish line will be located on the boulevard at The Hyatt Regency Resort. This race can also be entered by relay teams. Find out more information in our blog

ATECH – Aruba’s Tech Conference

You can meet the next generation of innovators, connectors, and game-changers in the third annual tech conference being held at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino on October 26-28. Whether you are a tech enthusiast, entrepreneur or just curious about tech trends and innovation, this is the event to attend! See all the event details and line-up of speakers at the ATECH website and stay up-to-date with the ATECH Facebook page.

Eat Local

Every year in October on One Happy Island we celebrate the fact that this island has a truly amazing array of restaurants for locals and tourists alike to enjoy. The purpose of this month-long event is to especially highlight authentic Aruban cuisine. Participating restaurants offer affordable fixed-price meals, with lunches priced at $15 and dinners for $30-$40. You don’t need to buy tickets or have passes or vouchers or anything. Just make your reservation at a participating restaurant and enjoy! There are nearly 70 restaurants participating this year! For the full list, visit the Eat Local Aruba Restaurant Month website.
